Henry E. Grabill died Friday in the garden of his home in Woodstock from a gunshot wound near the heart. No none was with him at the time of his death, but he had been training his young dogs, one of which was gun shy, by shooting in the air over them.
Just at the time of his death, a big dog had his leg broken in the garden and it is thought that the dog tripped Mr. Grabill and the gun discharged as he fell.
Youngest son of the late Capt. John H. and Mary Hollingsworth Grabill, he was born in Woodstock in 1881. Four sisters survive: Elizaveth G. and Mary C. Grabill, Mrs. (Eleanor) Jacob Haun, Mrs.Ernest B. Ring and brother Frank H. Grabill.
