John Graham was born in Scotland.

John Graham of Dougalston was the son of John Graham (1612-1672) and wife Dorothy Allasone (1612-1658) born in 1632. He married first Margaret Gilhagie on 22 Apr 1663.[1][2][3] They had issue:[2]

  1. James, b. 7 Apr 1667
  2. John, b. 20 May 1669
  3. Isobel, b. 3 Jan 1671

He married second Christian Douglas.[2] They had issue:

  1. James, b. 23 Aug 1676
  2. Walter, b. 22 Oct 1678
  3. Christian, b. 5 Sep 1681
  4. Mathew, b. 22 Sep 1682
  5. Mary, b. 22 Sep 1683

John passed away before 4 May 1700.

Research Notes

  • John's son John was served heir on 4 May 1700 and one can infer that his father, this John, passed away shortly before but no earlier that 22 Dec 1682 (nine month before the birth of his youngest child).
