WEDDING BELLS.
GRAHAM—GEESON.
The following report of the wedding of Mr. Charles Graham, for several years with Messrs. T. H. Marks and Co., of Mudgee, is taken from the Picton "Post": — "A very pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Mark's Church of England, Picton. by Rev. W. J. Roberts, on Friday, June 4th, the contracting parties being Charles Henry, second son of Mr. John Graham, of Ulmarra, Clarence River, and Alice, eldest daughter of Mr. Thomas Geeson, of Picton. The bride, who was given away by her father, was attired in a cream silk Empire dress, trimmed with filet insertion, and wore the usual wreath and veil. She also carried a beautiful shower bouquet of hyacinths and white chrysanthemums. Miss Mary Geeson, sister of the bride, was dressed in a danity white muslin, with lace trimmings, and wore a white silk crinoline hat, trimmed with white silk net. She carried a bouquet of jonquils and violets. The church was nicely decorated for the occasion by girl friends of the bride, and as she entered the church on her father's arm, the Wedding March was played by Miss Antill. The choir sang, "O, perfect love, all human thought, transcending." After a ceremony, the happy couple, amid a plentiful shower of rice, confetti, etc., drove to the residence of the bride's parents, where the wedding breakfast was laid. Mr. Roberts, the officiating clergyman, proposed the health of the bride and bridegroom, and referred in feeling terms to the beauty of the marriage ceremony, and hoped they would long be spared to enjoy health and happiness. The bridegroom suitably responded. Mr. Hosking, uncle of the bride, proposed the health of the bride's parents, and spoke of the sterling character they always enjoyed, and the well-deserved popularity. He felt sure that if the bride only followed her parents' footsteps in life, there would be no fear for her future. The health of the bridesmaid was proposed by the bridegroom, and responded to by Mr Roberts. The happy couple left by the evening train for Bowral, where the honeymoon will be spent, after which they will proceed to the Clarence River, where they will reside. Among the presents, which were numerous and costly, were a handsome silver teapot, presented by the fellow employees of the bridegroom at Ulmarra and a beautifully-bound Bible, presented by Rev. W. J. Roberts. Telegrams of congratulation were received during the day from absent friends in different parts of the State."
