Ogdensburg Advance, Wednesday Sept 11, 1935

The death of Peter Graveline, 80, retired carpenter, occurred last night at 8:15 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Nelson LaRose, Morris Street and Jersey Avenue. He had been in declining health for some time past. Mr. Graveline was born in Aylmer Quebec, Aug 19, 1855, a son of Peter and Louise Lavier Graveline and came to Ogdensburg in his youth and during his early life he was employed by the Proctor Manufacturing company and the Skillings, Whitneys and Barnes Lumber company. His wife is dead and the following sons and daughters survivie him: Henry of Syracuse, Peter, John, Arthur, Edward, Mrs. Edward Burnett, Mrs. William Farley, Mrs. Harold Cornish, Mrs. Floyd Mills, all of Ogdensburg; Mrs. Murray of Hull Quebec, and Mrs. Earl Potter of Syracuse, and two brothers, Napoleon Graveline of Aylmer and Fred Graveline of Cusson, Quebec. Mr. Graveline was a highly esteemed resident with a large circle of friends.

This is a confusing obituary as they have some details wrong. I do believe this is Pierre Graveline (Senior), not his son, Peter. The father was the husband of Elizabeth Louise Laviere, not her son. The children that were named are the children of Pierre Graveline, not the children of the son.
