Biography

Maggie was born Margaret Brownlie Gray on the 20th of November, 1871, in Oamaru, Otago, New Zealand, the 2nd of 4 children of Robert Gray and Martha McNab.^{[1][citation needed]} At 29, on the 22nd of November, 1900, she married George Fleming at the home of her father, "Centrehill", Lumsden, Southland, New Zealand.^[2] and they had two children.

At 82, on the 24th of November, 1954, she died at Dunedin, and was buried in the Andersons Bay Cemetery, Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand. ^[3]
