Biography

James Henry Gray was born March 1,1868 in Greene County, Missouri, a son of Janes Kar Gray and Nancy Jane West. On November 5, 1893, he married Matilda Jane Rose (1869-1893), daughter of James Monroe Rose and Nancy Hannah Grover. James and Matilda had four known children. James died December 14, 1945 and was buried beside Matilda at Johns Chapel Cemetery, Ash Grove, Greene County, Missouri.
