• Miner Gray was born circa 1843, the son of George Gray and Eunice Mood^[1]
• On September 21, 1865, he and Miriam Lydia Hamilton had a son John Leslie Gray^[2], who died June 23 1866^[3]
• On November 25, 1866, he married Elizabeth Spinney^[4], born circa 1849 in Nova Scotia^[5], and had children^[6], including

1. Stillman Medford Gray, born 1870^{[6] [7]}
2. Lilly Gray, born 1871^[6]
3. Rupert Gray, born 1873^{[6] [8]}, who died in 1930 in New Hampshire^[9]
4. Jeddiah Gray, born 1874^[6], who married Mabel Forbes^{[10] [11]}
5. Clarence, born 1881^[6], who married Minnie Hamilton^[12]
6. Minnie, born in 1883.^{[6] [13]}, who married Arthur Roberts^[14] and died in 1940^[15]

• In 1886, he married Elizabeth Trefry Andrews, widow of John Andrews of Yarmouth County Nova Scotia^[16] Her parents are noted here as Joshua and Sarah.
• He and Elizabeth were in Massachusetts when she died in in Bourne, Barnstable Massachusetts^[17]
