Biography

Betsey Green was born in 1779. She married Jonathan Rogers Clark on September 14, 1795; they had ten children. Jonathan died in April of 1812 in Rochester, Windsor, Vermont. Betsey was heavily pregnant with their youngest child, Simon, who never saw his father.^[1] In 1821, nine years after Jonathan's death, she married (2) Jonathan Lamb. She had another son with him. She died in 1853 and is buried in North Hollow Cemetery, Rochester, Windsor, Vermont.^[2]
