Biography
Jasper was a merchant in the town of Rienzi he built a store building in 1884 that is still standing. His grandson had the wooden frame building moved to land behind is father's general merchandise store{C.B. Curlee} when the property his grandfather's store sat on was sold. The building, nearing 150 years, is the oldest store building in the town.
