Research Notes
If you are able to provide sources that address these questions and contribute to fuller knowledge of this profile's life please do so.
Jacob was married either two or three times. First to most probably Robina Yates (1850-1896) with marriage occuring sometime around 1874. They had at least 3 children togther between the years of 1875 and 1879. It is uncertain when Robina passed. The family gravestone for Bina is difficult to determine whether she passed in 1886 or 1896. Two addional children were born 1887 and 1891 per the 1900 US Census. Where these children of Robina? If so, why was there a 8 year gap in births of children from 1879 to 1887 for Robina? Is it possible there was a 2nd unknown wife who bore the last two children. It seems unlikely since the gravestone lists Robina "Bina" and his last wife Luella, but not an unknown 2nd wife.
