Biography

James was born in 1827. He was a Labourer, Team Driver and Coal Tipper.

On 22 Jul 1854 he married his 2nd wife Selina Ann Cundy at Probus.^[1] Their first son George was bapitised in 1855 at Lanlivery.^[2] Sadly he died an infant. In about 1857 the couple moved to Cardiff, Wales. The following children were born and baptised there:

• Mary Jane bap. 1857^[3]
• Emily bap. 1859^[4]
• George bap. 1861^[5]
• James b. abt. 1864^[6]
• Sarah bap. 1866^[7]
• Charles b, 1868^[8]
• Rosina b. 1870^[9] died an infant.
• Ethel bap. 1873^[10] died aged 3 years.
• Mabel bap. 1873^[11] died aged 3 years.

James died in 1899 aged 73.^[12]
