Eliza was the daughter of Henry Gregor and Mary Winter. She was born in St Merryn, Cornwall, England[1]
and baptized on February 21, 1843 in the same place.[2]
In the 1851 census, she was still living in the same place with her sister Nancy, Nancy's husband, and her siblings Elizabeth, James, Martha.[1]
According to a family letter, she married a shoemaker and was living with her husband in Padstow, Cornwall, England by 1864.[3]
Research Note
Not to be confused with her older sister of the same name, Eliza Gregor (1837-1839), who died at age 2.
