Obit 9 AUG 1990. Note: ARLINGTON - Philomena Zihlman, a retired can company employee, died Tuesday at her Arlington home. She was 87. Rosary will be at 7 tonight at Hugh M. Moore & Sons Funeral Home in Arlington. Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church. Burial will be in Moore Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Zihlman was born in Windthorst, Archer County, North Central Texas. She had lived in Arlington since 1942. Mrs. Zihlman was a winding machine operator for R. C. Can Co. Mrs. Zihlman was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church. Her husband, John Zihlman, died in 1988. Survivors: Two daughters, Dorothy Hoffman and Anna Eller, both of Arlington; two brothers, Charles Grimminger of Weatherford and Ben Grimminger of McKinney; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
