Obit 14 JAN 1935. Note: Joseph Gremminger, 73-year-old pioneer farmer of the Windthorst community, died at 6:30 o'clock Monday morning at the home of a son, Ted Gremminger, on the 77 ranch, six miles east of Wichita Falls. Funeral services have not been arranged, pending word from a second son, Nick Gremminger, of Evansville, Ind. The Hines mortuary is in charge of the funeral. Survivors are seven sons, Tony of El Reno, Okla.; Joe Jr., of Windthorst; Charles of Loving; Bill of Windthorst; Ben of Electra; Nick of Evansville, and Ted of the 77 ranch; four daughters, Mrs. August Wiesman of Wichita Falls, Mrs. John Knabe of Muenster, Mrs. John Zihlman of Windthorst and Mrs. Frank Butler of Olney; and one brother, Lee Gremminger of Wichita Falls.
