Nancy was born in 1960. She was the daughter of Melvin Griffin and Betty Jennings. She passed away in 2006.

Born in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of Betty Jean Jennings Griffin and Melvin Richard (Sam) Griffin.
Ms. Griffin was of the Protestant faith and was formerly employed by Lowe's of Sumter.
Survivors include her companion of 25 years, Jerry Wayne Hodge of Sumter; her parents of Sumter; four brothers, Melvin Lynn Griffin and wife Mona of Buford, Ga., Danny Richard Griffin and wife Ginger of Sumter, Benny Clayton Griffin and wife Arealia of Sumter and Cale Louie Griffin and wife Brandi of Florence; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
