Biography

Marie-Anne Grondin was born on 3 Nov 1791 and was baptized the next day in Saint-François-du-Lac, Province de Québec. She was the daughter of Joseph Marie Grondin and Marie Josephte Houde. Sponsors at Marie-Anne's baptism were Nicolas Boisvert and Marie Anne Délaurier; neither sponsor signed the register.

At age 18 Marie-Anne married Salomon Vezina on 9 Oct 1810 in Saint-Édouard parish in Gentilly, Bas-Canada. There were 12 known children born into this marriage.

NOTE: Baptismal record gives mother's name as Marie Josephte Houle.

Marie-Anne was born in 1791. She passed away in 1863.
