Biography

Note: Apparently her husband Newell Hubbard died prior to 1850 because Hulda Is the head of household for the 1850 NY census.

Huldah lived with her daughter Betsy and George Rockwell in NY census 1870 but then later moved to Michigan with her son Amos in census 1880.

It seemed much more likely to have been originally Grove instead of Grow, observing that in early times the letters u and V were often pervert.

Huldah and her sister Charlotte were baptized on July 9, 1814 at the First Presbyterian Church of Clyde, organized by Rev. Francis Pomeroy, of Lyons and Rev. Hippocrates Roe of Palmyra.
