In the 1940 census Tressie (age 17), House Keeper, was the married daughter-in-law of John Bright in Knox, Kentucky.[3] In the 1950 census Tressie (age 27) was the wife of John R Bright in Knox, Kentucky, United States.[4]
Tressie died on 25 January 1988 in Knox County, Kentucky.[5][6] She was buried in the John R Bright Cemetery, Hammond, Knox County, Kentucky, United States.[7]
