Biography

Tressie (Grubb) Bright was born in Appalachia, in Kentucky.

Tresssie Grubb was born on 12 October 1922 in Salt Gum, Knox County, Kentucky.[1] In the 1930 census Tressie (age 8) was the daughter of Isacc Grubb in District 4, Knox, Kentucky, United States.[2]

In the 1940 census Tressie (age 17), House Keeper, was the married daughter-in-law of John Bright in Knox, Kentucky.[3] In the 1950 census Tressie (age 27) was the wife of John R Bright in Knox, Kentucky, United States.[4]

Tressie died on 25 January 1988 in Knox County, Kentucky.[5][6] She was buried in the John R Bright Cemetery, Hammond, Knox County, Kentucky, United States.[7]
