• Sudden Death near Branxton.— Patrick Joseph Gurr, 16 years of age, was riding into Church at Branxton on Sunday morning in company with E. Mooney,S. Dunn, Thomas Flannery, and others, when he was noticed to fall forward on his horse. He then toppled over and fell to the roadway. He was at once conveyed to Dr. Rogers who found that he was quite dead. It is somewhat of a coincidence that the young man's father fell from a cart and died the same way some time ago.
