Biography

Mary was born in 1858. She was the daughter of Jacob Gutshall and Eliza Cornman.

She married Chester Case Lutz (1850-1913) in 1881. They had the following children:

1. Lottie Lutz Spahr 1882-1969
2. Gertrude Lutz Martin 1884-1913
3. Nellie Lutz 1887-1970
4. Charles Richard Lutz 1892-1957
5. Emeline Lutz Fishel 1893-1962

(there was an unknown 6th child who died before the 1900 census)

She lived with the family of her daughter Lottie and son-in-law Harry Spahr in 1920, possibly later as well if census records can be found.

She passed away in 1945.
