Biography
William was born about 1816.
In 1841 William and brother Thomas were living in Stroud with parents George, an agricultural labourer and Elizabeth, a woollen cloth worker. [1]
In 1844 William married Mary Ann Halliday in Stroud. [2]
In 1861 William and Mary Ann were living with 3 children and William's grandmother in Stonehouse. William was a woollen cloth worker (spinner).[3]
William died aged 78 in 1899. His death was registered in Stroud. [4]
