Edith Bessie Gwinnet was born in 1882 in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire and was christened there on 1 October 1882, the daughter of William Gwinnett and Mary Ann (nee Merrett) Gwinnett[1][2]
At the time of the 1891 Census Edith is living with her parents and siblings in Coventry Road, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire[3]
