Biography

Charlotte married Daniel Shank about 1855. They had 9 children, including John, Charles, Joseph, Martha, Thomas, Elizabeth, Christian and Margaret.

By 1880, they had moved from Pickering, Ontario to Lexington, Michigan. ^[1]

She married William W. Fields on July 7, 1889 in Lexington, Michigan. William was 60, born in England. Charlotte's maiden name was shown as "Addelay". She was 51, born in Toronto, father's name "Saml Addelay" and occupation dressmaker. ^[2]

Charlotte died in Burtchville on Jan. 21, 1899 and age 60y, 8m 19d. She is buried in Lakeport cemetery in Burtchville. William died on Jan. 1, 1899 and is buried in the same cemetery. ^{[3] [4]}
