Biography
Rachel was born about 1828. She was the daughter of Samuel Haig and Mary Murdoch. She passed away in 1866.

After her husbands death, she had a son, Robert James HAIG to "reputed father" Hugh Alexander. Robert was born on 12 Feb 1866 and Rachel sadly died eight days later. Then wee Robert died at 11 months old.
