In 1801[2] Bethuel married Rachel Wilkins, the daughter of William Wilkins and Sarah (Ballinger) Wilkins.[3] Their children were Elma Haines (1803-1804); Wilkins Haines (1804-1842). He moved to Ohio; Nathan B. Haines (1807-1846). Ancestry of the Haines, Sharp, etc. notes that Nathan "went to Mt. Holly." This probably means Mt. Holly Monthly Meeting in New Jersey, not Mt. Holly, North Carolina; Deborah (Haines) Stokes (1808-?). She received a Certificate from Upper Evesham Meeting to Ohio.; and Bathsheba (Haines) Mullin (1810-1855). Bathsheba also received a Certificate from Upper Evesham Meeting to Ohio.[4]
Bethuel died in Evesham Township, New Jersey on or about November 1, 1823.[5]
