I have recently begun researching my children's ancestry and have read all the Fogle info on the message boards. Unfortunately, I cannot get back any futher than my former husband's grandfather, David Clark Fogle, born 1856 in Noble Co. He married Celestia (Selesta) Frances Haines (daughter of Wm Haines and Mary Shafer of Seneca Twnshp, Noble Co.) about 1876. I found them in the 1880 census living near all the Shafer family. In 1870, I found a David Fogle but am not sure it is the correct person. He is a domestic servant aged 13 in the home of Clark Gray. David's death certificate from 1940 (Guernsey Co.) is blank for the father's name but his mother's name was Melissa Morgan. Does anyone have a David Fogle in a family tree of Ohio/Noble or Guernsey Co. Fogle's? Carol Fogle-Salyer."
