Biography

US Black Heritage Project
Mary Haithcock is a part of US Black heritage.

Mary was born about 1817. She is the daughter of Sterling Haithcock and Charlotte Newsom.

Her father Sterling obtained free papers in Northampton County on March 23, 1830 and registered them in Logan County, Ohio. He stated that he was 38 years old, was the son of Reuben Hathcock, was of a dark complexion, was the husband of Charlotte and the father of 8 children (as of that year).[1]
