I believe that this is the correct John Hale born to William Hale and Agnes (Nancy) Lowry in Banbridge, Seapatrick, County Down Ireland.

1. We know based on David Hale's letter to his future wife that William Hale and Agnes had 10 children that survived. Two of the children came over early, and after William and Agnes died the rest of the children cameover in 1881 settling in Chicopee, Massachusetts.

2.The 1883 Chicopee Directory has John Hale living with David Hale at 48 Perkins St as a boarder and both working at the D. M. CO. - From David Hale's bio we know he started work at D.M. Co in Chicopee.

3.There is a John Hale in all of the Chicopee Directories up until til 1924. The street addresses match up with the U.S. Censuses. He tends to change addresses and switches jobs between the different mills even returning to D.M. Co.

4. On his Marriage certificate he states that William and Agnes were his parents.
