Biography

When Clara Dell "Carrie" Hall was born on November 1, 1867, in Berlin, Ohio, her father, Edward, was 30, and her mother, Salina, was 27. She married Elbert Winegar Hale on December 22, 1887, in Kentland, Indiana. They had two children during their marriage. She died on April 26, 1957, in Morley, Michigan, at the age of 89, and was buried in Big Rapids, Michigan.
