Ella was born in 1868. [1] She was the daughter of George Hall and Ellen Lamb. She wed Jesse Dudley Brown in 1904. [2][3] She passed away in 1972.
I visited Grandmother Brown's house several times and got to know her better when she moved in with Granddaddy and Grandmother Smith. I remember her as small, proper and no-nonsense.
