Biography
Vernie M Halsey was born on May 4, 1904, in Wyoming, West Virginia, her father, Isaac, was 24, and her mother, Laura, was 22. She married William Bowers in 1922 in Wyoming City, West Virginia. They had two children during their marriage. She died on February 12, 2000, in Crab Orchard, West Virginia, at the age of 95, and was buried in Saulsville, West Virginia.
