Biography

Shobal was born on 20 September 1724 in Barnstable, Barnstable, Massachusetts Bay. He was the son of Shubael Hamblin (1695-1758) and Eleanor (Winslow) Hamblen (abt.1694-1776).[1]

Shoble married Martha Lumbert on 7 March 1750 in Barnstable, Barnstable, Massachusetts Bay.[2]

His wife Martha died in 1759, and the widower Shoble married Sarah Crocker on 16 July 1761 in Barnstable, Barnstable, Massachusetts.[3]

Shubael's second wife Sarah died in 1766. The widower Shobael married Ruth Cannon on 27 November 1766 in Barnstable, Barnstable, Massachusetts, United States.[4]

Shubael died at age 52 on 12 April 1776. He was buried in Marstons Mills Cemetery in Marstons Mills, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.[5]
