Obituary G. E. Hamilton - died very suddenly last night at 10 o'clock at his home on East Houston Street, the result of heart trouble. Mr. Hamilton was 62 years of age and had been a resident of Marshall for 14 years, coming here from Terrell, TX. He was engaged in the carpenter business and the honesty of purpose and brightness he maintained in all his business dealings had gained for him a world of friends, having carried the same policy with him through private life.
He was a member of the Methodist church and the Woodmen of the World.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four daughters. Mrs. E. A. McGibbony, Mrs. J. K. Holmes, and Misses Lela and Emma Hamilton and one son, W. P. Hamilton and two brothers and sisters in Garrison, Texas.
The funeral will be held tomorrow morning from the residence conducted by the Woodmen of the World, Rev. C. E. Tally of the Methodist church officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
