Biography
Dora was born in 1880. She was the daughter of Charles Owens and Dora Pye. Dora's birth was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1880 in the Tynemouth district.[1]
In the 1881 census Dora (age 1) was the daughter of Charles George Hampson on Lawton St, Elswick, Northumberland, England.[2]
In the 1891 census Dora (age 11), Scholar, was the daughter of Charles G Hampson in Elswick, Northumberland, England.[3]
In the 1901 census Dora (age 21) was the single daughter of Charles Geo Hampson in Elswick, Northumberland, England.[4]
She married actor/theatrical agent Charles Andrew Swinton Boult (born 1866) in Leeds, Yorkshire in 1908[5] becoming his second wife, and stepmother to his daughter (his son was 18). They settled in Lancashire.
In the 1911 census Dora (age 28), Manager at Present Out of Work, was the wife of Charles Boult in Bootle St Mary, Lancashire, England.[6]
