Anthony John Hancock was born in Hall Green, Birmingham on 12 May 1924. His birth was registered in Kings Norton in the second quarter of 1924.[1] He was the son of John Hancock.
Tony married Cicely J. E. Romanis. Their marriage was registered in Kensington, London in the third quarter of 1950.[2] They were divorced in 1965.
Tony died in Bellevue Hill, New South Wales on 25 June 1968. He was buried in St Dunstan with Holy Angels Churchyard, Cranford, London.[3]
