Ann (Hanks) Dines
Spending summers on the family farm as a little girl, I loved helping grandpa herd the cows from the milk barn out to their pasture across the county road. He always reminded me 'not to touch the wires until he said so' as an electrical current ran thru them in order to keep the cows fenced in the pasture. I forgot one day and I got 'zapped on my butt'. I remember how he laughed, came to see that I was alright, and said maybe I should help grandma in the kitchen for the rest of the day.
