She married Alfred Octave Oudaille[2][3]
on 01 Jan 1892[2][3] at All Saints church in Dunedin, officiated by Rev A.R. Fitchett.[2]
Alfred was a chemist on King street, Dunedin, the eldest son of Francis Oudaille, Esq., of Lawrence and Waitahuna.[2]
The marriage lasted 23 years up to her death, but they did not have children together.
In 1901 Frances took an extended trip north with her 26 year old single sister Laura, travelling up on the Express train of 24th Oct[4]
and returning 19th Nov.[5]
She died 05 Jul 1915[6][7]
and was buried two days later[6] with her father and brother Herbert at Northern Cemetery,[6][7] in Dunedin.
