Evelyn co-authored The History of Upson County, Georgia. She also wrote two novels of southern fiction, Blackberry Winter and Sugar in the Gourd with the Civil War as backdrop.
In the 1920 census Evelyn (age 19) was the single daughter of Jeff D Hannah in Thomaston, Upson, Georgia, United States.[1]
