Biography
Hannah Harding was born in 1739, in St Stephen's Parish, Northumberland County Virginia, a daughter of William Harding and Sarah Ball. [1]
In 1760, in St Stephen's Parish, Northumberland County, Hannah married John Lewis, IV, [2] a son of John Lewis III, and Mary Davis Foushee. [3]
Children of Hannah and John include:
- George Harvey Lewis, born 1761
- Sarah Lewis, 1762-1850
- Milton aka "Mottrom" Lewis, born 1764 [4]
- John Baptiste Lewis
- Samuel Harding Lewis, born February 27, 1768, died December 18, 1832, married Mary Walker, widow of Joseph Barnett, Sr.[5]
- James Lewis
Hannah (Harding) Lewis died in 1802, in Henderson County, Kentucky.[6]
