On July 3, 1907, in Oklahoma County, Territory of Oklahoma, United States, Ernest and Olive Sarah Smith applied for and were issued a marriage license.[3] They are presumed to have married, but the certificate of marriage section of the form was not completed.[3] The Harlows appear to have had only 1 child, daughter Mary Melba Harlow.[4]
Ernest supported his family first as a retail merchant in a clothing store,[4] then later as an eye specialist and optometrist.[2][5]
