William Joseph Harney was born in 1879. He is the son of William Harney and Margaret McQuillan.
William J Harney married Bertha A Olson, daughter of Jacob Olson.[1] Children include:
- Raymond Joseph (1903-1882);
- William Jacob (1905-1921);
- Ralph H Harney (1907-1910) [2]
Bertha died in 1919.
William J Harney married second to Ida M Mangerson[3] the daughter of Gus Mangerson and Matilda Coulson.
William J Harney was a cigar manufacturer. In July 1906, he expanded his business to a location on High Street, Oskaloosa, Iowa.[4]
William is buried at Saint Marys Cemetery, Oskaloosa, Mahaska County, Iowa, USA
