Lois was married two times. The first marriage was to Timothy Cady on 12 March 1778 in Newent Congregational Church, Lisbon, New London, Connecticut, United States.[2][3]
Second marriage was to James Alyesworth, date unknown.[4]. They lived in Foster and Coventry, Rhode Island.

The town of Putnam was incorporated in 1855. It was formed by taking parts of Thompson, Pomfret and Killingly. The old Congregational Church at North Killingly, organized in October, 1715, thus came within its limits. Rev. J. Fisk the first pastor.
