John Irvin Harris, 68, of 2510 Floyd Ave., an employee of the Richmond Fredericksburg & Potomac (RF&P) Railroad Company died Sunday at a Richmond hospital. He had worked for the RF&P for 48 years and was a member of Boulevard Methodist Church, St. John’s Lodge No 36 AF&AM and the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen of America. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Hilda C Harris and a sister Miss Lucy Harris of Richmond. A funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday at the Frank A Bliley Funeral Home with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
