Nancy Harrison daughter of Wm Harrison & his wife Elvira Cooper was born in 04 MAY 1791. The pension records of her father and her mother's widow's pension give her date of birth as well as mention that in 1851(the time of Elvira's death) that Nancy was a Culverhouse. The Culverhouse marriage was her 2nd marriage. She was first married to John Hight and was widowed when he passed in 1821. She and Thomas Culverhouse are enumerated in Dist 9 of the Bedford Co TN US Federal Census of 1850 however her age is not given in that record. Nancy's known children by John Hight were Wm Green Hight(1816-1881) Joseph John Hight(1818-1904) and Mary Hight Lyle(1820-1896) Her son Wm Green Hight is mentioned in Elvira's pension records as he is her estate admin and was corresponding with the pension board to get an increase of her pension that was due her prior to her passing. I don't have a direct connection with her but I am interested because her sister Elizabeth Harrison Cook was my 3rd Gr. grandmother. --Marie Cooke Beckman [email address removed]
