Biography

Sevenah Clotilda Hart

She was born February 2, 1843 and is the daughter of William Bartola Hart and Mary Ann Higgenbotham. Sevenah grew up in Alachua County, Florida^[1][2] along with nine siblings; David Christopher Hart, Christopher Columbus Hart, Catherine Frances Hart, William Bartola Hart (died young), Isaiah David Hart, Elias J Hart, John Peter Hart, Daniel Christian Hart and William Bartola Hart.

Sevenah married Nathan Johnston Trowell November 5, 1861^[3][4] and they made their home in Umatilla, Florida^[5][6] until his death February 26, 1894. Together they raised nine children; Mary Ann Trowell, William Joseph Trowell, Rebecca Louisa Trowell, Christopher Isaiah Trowell, Catherine Drucilla Trowell, Sevenah Clotilda Trowell, Gracie Idella Trowell, Romania Mae Trowell and John Christian Trowell. Sevenah died July 16, 1928^[7][8] and is buried in Umatilla Cemetery, Umatilla, Florida.^[9]
