Biography

Edward was born February 6, 1813 in Madras, India and he was baptised on August 10, 1815 in Quilon, Madras, India which was the very same date as his brother Thomas Cory Harvey. He is the son of Henry Harvey and Emily MacKay.

He married widow Mary Ann Taylor (nee Bower) on July 29, 1846 in Taunauipett, Madras, India. He was 37 years old and his father was Henry Cory Harvey. She was 21 years old and her father was Joseph Bower.[1]
