Tony was born in 1957. He was the son of Hubert Hatley and Beatrice Thomas. He passed away in 2021.
Tony Glenn Hatley, 63, of Oakboro, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 at Atrium Health Stanly in Albemarle.
Mr. Hatley was born February 21, 1957 to the late Hubert Lee and Beatrice Thomas Hatley. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his mother-in-law, Mary L. Mills.
Tony enjoyed music his entire life. He played many instruments, with the keyboard becoming his favorite. After being in the gospel groups, The Morton Singers and The Singing Towers, he formed his own group, Destiny Quartet. Tony also started a recording studio, Creative Sounds, to help other musicians with their passion.
A private funeral service will be held at West Oakboro Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Keith Austin.
Tony is survived by his wife, 1 brother (and wife), another brother, father-in-law, brother-in-law, 3 nieces, 3 great-nephews, and two fur-babies, Bella and Sophie.
