Ada was born in 1888 at Cobar, New South Wales, Australia. Her parents were Alfred Hatton and Alice Maria Miller. [1] Alfred and Alice were never married to each other.
Family moved to a property at Nevertire, New South Wales, Australia. This is where Ada's mother, Alice passed away in 1913. Ada was the informant of her mother's passing.
Ada married Oliver Samuel Sims in 1922 at Baptist Church, Burton Street, Marrickville, New South Wales, Australia. [2]
Witnesses to marriage were Albert E Sims (best man) and Rebecca Miller (bridesmaid).
Oliver and Ada had two children, Raymond Cecil and Nola Amy. Oliver passed away on 29th July 1966 at his Russell St home, and Ada passed away 12 July 1981 at Moran Health Care. Two of Ada's siblings died very young, Amy and Cecil. These names were given to Ada's son and daughter as middle names.
Ada passed away in 1981 from a stroke, at Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia. [3]
She is interred at Bathurst Cemetery, Church of England portion, Section C Row 9 Plot 2A, New South Wales, Australia.
