Mary was born in 1883 in Bertie Township to Timothy Haun and Fanny Sherk. [1]
She married Michael Schabel in 1902 and lived in a house built by her husband in Chippawa. [2] They had six children.
They changed the spelling of Schabel, adding a U after the war.
She passed away in 1945. [3] She died suddenly and unexpectedly while visiting a neighbour.
