Their known children are Helena Goebel (likely died young)[5], Philipp Goebel[6][7][8][9], Louise Goebel (likely died young)[10][8], and Magdalena Goebel (likely died young)[8].
Magdalena's husband Philipp likely died between 6 Jul 1849, the date of a visit on a receipt from his doctor, and 6 Aug 1849, the date that his widow identified his heirs in probate court.[8] She married Edward Schocke on 29 Sep 1850 in St. Louis County.[11]
